Abstract :
This is the report document for the developed hotel management system for any hotel. The objective of the project is to design a hotel management application that enables the manager to keep the record of the hotel and the customer. The project has been designed in HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, and PHP, which acts as the database for the project. Our motivation for the project came from my enthusiasm and strong urge to learn HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, and PHP for website development. The Hotel Management System project mainly consists of two types of users. The customers who access the information provided by the website and the administrator who modifies and updates the information.

Introduction :
A hotel is a building that provides lodging, meal, and other services to the traveling public, provided they are in a fit condition to be received. Hence, the hotel provides food, beverages, and lodging to travelers and other paying guests. Overall modern business and tourism development philosophy is geared toward tourists, guests, and consumers and satisfying their needs and desires. Modern hospitality is distinguished from other related activities in the sphere of providing accommodation using continuous maintenance of the quality of services and introduction of new types of the services that are not characteristic of the hospitality Package gives all the information regarding the check-in or check out facilities of the customer can make his or her booking for rooms and food. It gives details of the customer and the time of arrival and departure of the customer. The package also provides the facility of searching the customer or an employee working in that particular hotel by name / by the provided ID. It gives information about the employees working in hotels. This software is very useful to the departments for managing their activities. Although hotels are already having well-developed software for information management, we just want to study how business, all to increase the quality of basic services of accommodation and meet the needs of the modern consumers. Survival of the hotel industry in the demanding and dynamic market and raising the level of competitiveness depends and services. Hotel companies that are focused on quality, and thus the satisfaction of their guests, can be successful in the demanding tourist market. Our project on hotel management systems gives an idea about the management in hotels. They only after 12 hours or 24 hours depending upon the period they have taken. They were facing problems in providing rooms to customers. In our project, we have tried to solve this problem and at any moment time the status of a room that whether it is vacant or occupied is shown correctly. Developing software on a topic like a hotel management system has much scope. It can be this is done. So, we selected a hotel management system as our project. We visited various hotels and went through their software. In one of the hotels, we found that they have the problem that their software does not show the room vacant as soon as it is vacant. The status of the room is updated made more attractive and many more modules can be attached to provide various services to The customers like booking cancellation of booking, enquiring about any customer or room availability. The project has scope in hotels since the routing activities of managing departments become easy
Methodology :
➔ The home page of the website describes the view of the hotel along with the button to discover more about the hotel. Next on the home page one can access the navigation bar which contains various features and facilities for customers. The register button enables the user to signup/log into our website.
➔ The service option leads to the page which gives the services of our hotel like Foodservice, Refreshment, Housekeeping, and Room security.
➔ Foodservice page present the special and most popular food of the hotel, reviews of the foods, also customer can order food online
➔ The refreshment page presents the activities of our hotel where guests can spat their time.
➔ The rooms option leads to the various rooms of the hotel and its charge, facility, etc. Where customers can book rooms, check-in information — check out, and more about rooms.
➔ The customer’s option leads to the reviews of the customers.
➔ The Footer of the website gives the contact information, location, and reservation.
